Baby clothes clean up and storage solution

Recently I was buying new clothes for Joshua when I released that I had nowhere to put his old clothes. For the last few months I have been storing his too small clothes in these plastic containers. The problem was that they were not organised. So here is what I did:

Before
For the last few months I have been storing his too small clothes in these plastic containers. The problem was that they were not organised.
 After
  • I pulled out all the clothes.
  • I kept any that were too scruffy for our rag pile.
  • Then I re-ironed and folded the clothes neatly.
  • Put them into piles by their clothes label size.
  • If any pieces of clothing had shrunk, I put them with the next size down.
  • Got 4 pieces of A4 cardboard and put a label on each box with the clothing size it contained. My labels were:
0000 & 00000 newborn, hats, wraps, sleeping bags
000 3 to six months
00  6 to 12 months
0 & 1 12 to 18 months
  • I have put them in the top of a wardrobe in our spare bedroom. I often give clothing to friends having babies, so I will be much easily to find what I need from now onwards.
Hope this helps you to get organised!
