Week 3: household tasks and cleaning checklist

Household tasks and cleaning
Dust surfaces and sills, vacuum and steam clean floors.
Fluff and rotate sofa cushions. Vacuum upholstery.
Spray and wipe benches, windex glass surfaces and mirrors. Wipe hand and pet prints from windows, walls and sliding doors.
Remove lint from the hose attached to the back of the clothes dryer.
Wash cooktop ventilation hood filters, oven, microwave and toaster oven.
Go to butchers for bulk buy and freeze excess meat for next few weeks.
Go through pile of magazines. Make keep and throw out piles. Rip out pages that you want to keep from the throw out pile.
Check water, wiper water, oil and tyre pressure on all cars. Wash cars if needed.
Garden and outdoor care
Net peas, cabbages, berry bushes and fruit trees.
Plant out cauliflower, French beans, leeks, lettuce, rocket, melons, pumpkins, runner beans, tomatoes, sweet basil, sweet potatoes, sweet corn and zucchinis.
Continue to mulch or compost garden beds.
Water plants in garden beds if 3 or more dry days.
Make or create a new fun activity for grandparents to do when minding children.
Check out the local markets. Make list of fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit to get from next farmers market.
Do Wii fit workout and walk dog. If cannot walk or Wii fit, then run up and down stairs 20 times.
Make meal planner for week. Try new recipes
Kiss your child between their eyes
Run outside together
