Garlic Cream Cheese & Parmesan Bread

We are currently having a lot of building work done at our house. I made this little treat for the builders. This is also a delicious snack or finger food for parties that my family loves.
  • 6/9/12 pack little bread rolls – can be wholemeal or any type of bread
  • Onion & chives (or garlic) flavoured cream cheese I used Philadelphia
  • Parmesan cheese sliced – or plain grated cheese

1.   Cut the bread rolls into half, so they look like little bread fingers.

2.   Spread the cream cheese onto each roll. Make sure it is a generous amount, as it will melt into the bread.

3.   Place rolls onto a foil lined baking tray or your griller tray. If needed spray the foil with cooking oil so they don’t stick to the tray. Grill for 3 minutes on medium heat. Make sure they have a gap in between each roll on the tray. Remove from the griller.

4.   Check that the cream cheese has begun to melt evenly. Then add a thin layer of sliced parmesan cheese to each piece of bread. Return to the griller for another 2 minutes or until you feel it has melted.
5.   Safely remove from the griller and place onto a plate to serve. Enjoy with your family or friends!
